Joomla Web Developer
Laura has worked with Joomla since 2005. She has coordinated several events in New York since 2009. Most recently she coordinated jdayusa.com, which was attended by over 200 people.
Laura has built dozens of websites using Joomla over the years. Her niche has been public library websites in the New York / New Jersey area. She loves working with public libraries as their content is very rich, and dynamic. She has taught Joomla for OS Training with live classes and online classes with Video to Brain and Lynda.com. She is also getting her Masters degree in User Experience Design through the Rutgers Masters in Business Science Program.
Currently Laura works at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, the School of Arts and Sciences where she and a team manage over 120 Joomla websites. She primarily works with managing the sites, upgrading the sites, and training hundreds of users how to use the website to make them better.
She loves how Joomla when used properly can aid in the creation of content in a dynamic way. Joomla has given Laura and so many others the opportunity to manage site content in a way that it can be dynamic and easy to do and easy to change.
